The Pio's travelled to Preston City Oval in their return to football, managing to best the third-placed Knights by 23 points.
Reid topped the goal-kickers for the day with three for the Pioneers, taking his tally to seven from three games for the 16-year-old Tongala talent.
It's Reid's maiden NAB league BOG (best on ground) and his second time in the best players since making his Bendigo Under 19 debut back in June.
He would start the game at half-forward but was swung into Bendigo's midfield rotation for the second half, stamping his authority in the contested ball stakes.
“His one-on-one contested work was just outstanding,” Pioneers coach Danny O'Bree said.
“I thought (it) was a stand-out game. As a 16-year-old in an Under 19 program, it was a pretty impressive performance.
“He's obviously got an exciting future if he continues to work hard.”
The Pioneers started well with a five-goal first term and kept the Knights at arm's length for the majority of the game, taking out a 12.7 (79) to 8.8 (56) win.
Bendigo has now jumped back up into fourth spot on the NAB league ladder, with a scheduled bye this weekend before it meets Geelong Falcons at home in round 15.
Final score: Bendigo 12.7 (79) def Northern Knights 8.8 (56)
