Stolen car burnt between Echuca and Rochester involved in Kyabram house damage

POLICE are appealing for help after a stolen car was found burnt out between Echuca and Rochester on Sunday.

Detective Senior Constable Jason Hare of Campaspe Criminal Investigation Unit said the car was stolen from a rural property in Carag Carag near Stanhope the week before.

‘‘It was found burnt out in Black Culvert Rd on Sunday morning,’’ he said.

Det Snr Constable Hare said the car was suspected of being involved in the damage of a house in Hibiscus Crt, Kyabram, early Saturday, January 30.

‘‘We are making inquiries and are looking for any witnesses or those with information to come forward,’’ he said.
