Set to the backdrop of Moama’s Horseshoe Lagoon, the event will be back from June 30 to July 23 — and tickets will be on sale soon.
Now in its third year, Moama Lights is an immersive sound and light trail sharing stories from across the region through state-of-the-art installations, projections and cutting edge moving light technology.
The 2023 event will offer an enticing new show, brand new stories and extra attractions outside Horseshoe Lagoon to make it a fun night out for the whole family.
Mayor Chris Bilkey is encouraging people to keep an eye out for pre-sale information.
“Our 2022 event saw over 25,000 visitors attend the show, so I’d encourage people to get in early for info and updates so they don’t miss out on tickets,” he said.
“The 2023 Moama Lights will once again showcase our beautiful bush setting through sound and light, and deliver exciting new experiences for locals and visitors.”
Contractors Mandylights will return as the official creative and production co-ordinators for this year’s event.
Electricity network provider Transgrid has also thrown its support behind Moama Lights for a second year as the major Platinum Partner.
Sponsors Moama Bowling Club, Rich River Golf Club, Echuca Moama Accommodation Association and Mandylights are also backing the event.
“We are pleased to have these ongoing partnerships so that we can continue to deliver unique storytelling through an ever-changing display of captivating colours, spectacular sound and amazing local art,” Cr Bilkey said.
“Together, we will continue to stage an iconic event that generates significant economic benefits and increased destination awareness.
“We certainly look forward to lighting up Echuca Moama again in 2023!”
