FRIDAY, December 4 is your last chance to submit a nomination for Campaspe Shire's 2021 Australia Day awards.
The awards reward and recognise individuals that have made a noteworthy contribution during the current year, and/or have provided outstanding service over a number of years, to a local community over and above normal employment duties.
Outstanding contribution and community service includes areas such as education, health, fundraising, charitable and voluntary services, business, sport, arts, the environment, or any other area that contributes to the advancement and wellbeing of a community.
Campaspe Shire residents can be nominated for awards in their respective town of Echuca, Rochester, Kyabram, Tongala and Rushworth.
Young Citizen of the Year is open to people between the ages of 15 and 25, while Citizen of the Year is for people over 25.
Winners will be announced at Australia Day celebrations in each area.
