Construction works at NCN Health’s Cobram campus are on track to be finished by the end of the year, the organisation said.

NCN Health director of operations Justin Sullivan said works on the urgent care unit and acute ward redevelopment were on time despite some delays due to availability of materials and trades.
“However, there have been no major issues that have greatly impacted timelines,” he said.
“During construction there has been a number of changes to access and parking, and we really appreciate the patience and support of the community as we worked through these changes.”
The project began in February 2023 and consists of three stages.
Stage one saw the opening of the campus’s new urgent care clinic on Wednesday, March 27.
Stage two, which is ongoing, will see extensive modifications to existing facilities — including the addition of new firewalls, a new ultrasound room, and extra staff and office space.
In March this year, NCN Health said it expected stage two of the project to be completed after six months.
The original ‘Lisieux’ signage on the facade of the building is being rendered and retouched, but will remain in place.
NCN Health has confirmed the front car park along Broadway St is undergoing resurfacing, which it expects will take another five weeks.
Mr Sullivan said NCN Health structured the build so it could continue to provide services, including its urgent care and acute ward, alongside x-ray and ultrasound.
“This means blocking off some areas while still allowing access to patients and, critically, maintaining patient safety,” he said.
The $5.6 million redevelopment works were funded by the Victorian Government through its Rural Health Infrastructure Fund.
