There were no smiles mid race as Matt Carmelotti from nearby Cobram pulled some strong turns on the front, flicking riders off the back as he went.

C-grade
C-grade again had a large group of nine riders with a strong early pace defying the windy conditions.
Not known for dying wondering, the Whitten brothers Nathan and Travis attacked early and the pace stayed on.
Darren McKemmish must've been feeling good as he went solo with a few minutes to go, could he stay away or would the bunch behind get organised?
In the end, strong riding from Jamie Soares, Aaron McMaster, Claire Goodman and Nick Woods ensured that Darren was caught, and in the sprint to the line Nick Woods emerged victorious, followed by Aaron in second and Darren holding on for third.
D-grade
