Exploring improved on-farm efficiency through innovation will be the key theme to this year’s Fruit Growers Victoria conference to be held at the McIntosh Centre, Shepparton on Thursday, August 22.
FGV chairman Mitchell McNab said the event program would be targeted at bringing the best people and information to growers to address ongoing industry challenges.
“This event will bring with it a great opportunity for industry to learn, share and further succeed through the knowledge they will be exposed to, and the networks they will build,” Mr McNab said.
“It is a great opportunity for growers, suppliers and industry professionals to witness firsthand how technology can improve on-farm efficiencies and increase productivity and sustainability.”
The conference program features presentations from two international guest speakers specialising in pear, cherry and stone fruit production as well as Australian industry experts.
There will also be current technology machinery demonstrations.
