On Thursday, November 7, NDIS registered disability provider, Vivid, will host its annual Oaks Day fundraising spectacular at Junction, Moama.

The afternoon event will feature a sit-down lunch, hosted by the charismatic and beloved Jo Stanley.
Discovered performing stand-up comedy in a Collingwood pub more than 15 years ago, Jo Stanley has become a household name on Australian television and radio.
One of Australia’s most popular comedians, Jo writes heartwarming and hilarious columns for Sunday Life and news.com.au, where her infectious personality shines through in her articles on fashion, beauty, culture and parenthood.
She also conducts occasional celebrity interviews.
Jo Stanley will host this year’s Vivid Oaks Day event.

Jo is not only a talented media personality, but also a dedicated ambassador for various charitable organisations, including McDonald House, Smiling Mind, The Smith Family and The Big Issue.
She is a patron for the Lighthouse Foundation and supports the Salvation Army and Sacred Heart Mission.
Adding to the excitement on Oaks Day, guests will be treated to a guest video appearance from Michelle Payne, one of the most well-known figures in horse racing history.
Michelle became a national icon when she captured the hearts of the nation by winning the 2015 Melbourne Cup, becoming the first female jockey to win the race that stops the nation.
Proceeds raised at Vivid’s Oaks Day luncheon will contribute to the purchase of advanced assistive technology which will be instrumental in providing participants with modern and convenient tools that are engaging and personalised experiences.

These technologies will help participants develop spatial awareness, enhance social and communication skills and improve accessibility.
By providing these advanced resources, Vivid aims to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for adults living with disability, ensuring all participants have the necessary tools to thrive and communicate effectively.
