A truck and an SUV collided on a country Goulburn Valley road on Monday, November 4.
Shepparton police Sergeant Rocky Fazzolari said a rigid truck travelling north on Dhurringile Rd and a Renault Koleos SUV travelling west on the Midland Hwy collided at the intersection of the two roads at Tatura.
The SUV flipped on to its roof in the collision and ended up against a guardrail on the east side of the Midland Hwy, Sgt Fazzolari said.
The 42-year-old Girgarre woman driving the SUV was trapped in her vehicle for a short time before passers-by helped her out.
Sgt Fazzolari said the woman was taken to Goulburn Valley Health by ambulance for observation, with minor injuries.
The 67-year-old Cosgrove man driving the truck was not injured in the crash.
Sgt Fazzolari thanked those who stopped to help after the crash.
“We are appreciative of the members of the public who assisted,” he said.
Police inquiries into the crash are ongoing.
