Tuipulotu suffered the latest in a series of hamstring injuries in the Dragons' 38-16 thrashing of Gold Coast on Friday, when the winger brought back his banned "money" try celebration.
The Dragons are still determining a firm return-to-play timeline for the energetic Tuipulotu but AAP has been told there is no chance he will face the Sea Eagles on Thursday night.
The 24-year-old appeared visibly frustrated coming from the field with his injury on Friday, even appearing to push at the trainer who was ushering him to the bench.
"I was just upset I had to come off. My trainer, he's the man, that's my guy," Tuipulotu said.
Mathew Feagai appears the likeliest candidate to come onto the wing at Brookvale Oval after featuring as the Dragons' replacement player against Gold Coast.
Coach Shane Flanagan had warned Tuipulotu against using his "money" celebration while the Dragons were losing games, with the winger shelving it for the round-five loss to Parramatta.
But after also restraining himself following an early try against the Titans, the winger could not resist celebrating once he crossed to put Saints up by 24 points on Friday night.
"I've just got to make sure we've got the win before I do that. I don't want to make it a curse that whenever I do it, we lose," he said.
"That's why I didn't do it after the first try, when I scored the first try I had to do a normal celebration. Then the second one, when we were in front, looking like we were going to win.
"I love celebrating that kind of stuff."
Tuipulotu said he could hear the Wollongong punters egging him on to bring the celebration backÂ
"Give the crowd what they want! I'm just happy we got the win," he said.
Tuipulotu has started the season in impeccable form with seven tries from five games putting him in second place on the NRL leaderboard through six rounds.
The winger joined the Dragons late in the 2024 pre-season and said a full summer with the club and a move down to Wollongong had helped him take a better attitude towards his career.
"The way I'm training, the way I'm eating, all that kind of stuff, I probably didn't take it as seriously at the start of my career," he said.
"I feel like now that I've had a couple of pre-seasons under my belt, I know what works for me and what doesn't work for me. It's good for me now that I've got that experience."
