This week’s pic of the week from Estelle Close is of the Indented Head ship wreck, the Ozone, on the northern shore of Victoria's Bellarine Peninsula between Geelong and St Leonards. This is all that is left of an 1886 Scottish-built steam ship. Her first revenue earning voyage took place on December 18,1886, sailing from Melbourne to Mornington, Sorrento, Queenscliff and return. Sadly some of the glamour of the occasion was lost when Ozone, berthing at Queenscliff for the first time, collided heavily with the pier.

After a fresh batch of booms in Kyabram on Satuday night, Echucaites had the peace of their balmy early Sunday evening shattered with some fireworks that sounded very much like what has been happening in Ky over the past few weeks.
Dog owners in Echuca certainly didn’t appreciate the din and let it be known on social media.
Great dunny hunt

More than 24,300 have been listed, but many ‘secret’ loos haven’t.

Northern Victorian croppers were disappointed when the Easter weather forecast of rain turned into a fizzer.
Not even 1mm was recorded at the Kyabram weather station.
The 0.8mm registered on Sunday into Monday was the first rain to fall this month and continued the worrying dry start to the year, with only 58mm recorded.
