Community members are welcome to join serving and ex-service personnel in commemorating Anzac Day.
Uniforms and medals are encouraged at all Anzac Day events. Medals are to be worn on the left chest by veterans and serving personnel, and on the right side by relatives.
Here is a full list of official events happening on and around Anzac Day.
Kyabram
Kyabram RSL will be hosting the community at its annual commemorative service on April 25 from 10am. The event will begin with a march through the Memorial Gardens to the Memorial Park before an outdoor service begins. Kyabram Club is supporting the Lions and Rotary clubs to provide refreshments this year. Community groups and the public are welcome to lay wreaths during the service. Allan St will be closed between Saunders St and Goddard St for the duration of the ceremony with detours in place from 9.30am to 11.30am.
When: march begins at 9.53am, service begins at 10am.

Tongala
Tongala RSL will host a dawn service and breakfast at the RSL hall and a march and commemorative ceremony. The day’s services will begin bright and early for the dawn service at 6.30am and a breakfast will be provided afterwards. A march will kick off the morning service, starting at the RSL hall and ending at the Tongala public hall. The commemorative service will begin at 10am and a light lunch will be served afterwards. A gold coin donation is appreciated.

Stanhope
Stanhope RSL will hold a service on Sunday, April 27, and a short march. The Shepparton 319 Squadron cadets will take part in the catafalque party. The service will then head into the Stanhope RSL where attendees will hear from Matilda Salter about her experience walking the Kokoda Trail last year.
When: Sunday, April 27 at 2pm.

Girgarre
Girgarre RSL will host its community at its annual dawn service on April 25. Following the service a gunfire breakfast will be held at the Girgarre sub-branch. The RSL is also hosting a noon bowls and golf competition.
When: dawn service, gather at 5.45am for a 6am start.
Where: cenotaph, along Station St. Then, Girgarre RSL sub-branch along Station St.
Merrigum
Merrigum RSL will be hosting a commemorative service from 10am at Merrigum hall.
When: gather 9.50am for a 10am start.
Where: Merrigum hall, Morrissey St.
Rushworth
Rushworth RSL will be hosting both a dawn service and commemorative service. The dawn service will begin at 5.45am, and the commemorative service will begin at 10am.
When: dawn service, 5.45am. Commemorative service, assemble at 9.50am for a 10am start.
Where: war memorial at High St median strip.
Colbinabbin
A memorial service will be hosted by the Colbinabbin RSL at the memorial hall from 9am.
When: assemble from 8.50am, service from 9am.
