Held in the centre of the community, in the Soldiers’ Community Gardens, the special day included market stalls, community catering, sideshows, games and even a few fun competitions.
All organised by the Mathoura Events Committee, the family-friendly activities included an Easter egg hunt, egg and spoon race, sack races and the annual tug-of-war.
For some, the Easter bunny even got in on the action.
The traditional decorated bike competition also drew some fabulous entries.
Other activities to keep people busy and happy were the face painting, craft and colouring tables and a chance to paint your own Easter egg.
The egg and spoon races were popular with the young ones, and a few adults.
