“Attack the Castle” was a real hit, with balls aimed to take out all manner of household items strewn across the field!
The under-10s and under-12 players honed their pushing and trapping skills with “Box Trap”, with multiple square goals across the field.
They then got right into two mini hockey games of “Zone Hockey”.
Junior competition training saw teams play a quarter field game, with players concentrating on finding space and long passes, while the seniors refined their hitting skills.
The Hook In2 Hockey presentations will be held after the final session next week, with all players then progressing to Stick 2 Hockey in Term 2, from 4 to 5pm Thursdays.
New players are sought for all age groups for the winter competition starting in Term 2 — come down on a Thursday evening and try your hand at hockey.
Equipment is available to borrow, and the first two weeks are free.
