CFA Campaspe Shire District 20 Commander John Cutting said the woman, aged in her 30s, was hit at low speed while a Tongala tanker was reversing about 3.45pm.
"She was taken to hospital as a precaution and released after scans were done," he said.
"She suffered minor injuries."
Three trucks from Tongala, with support from Kyabram, Girgarre and Echuca Village, were called to the fire, which burnt about half a hectare of grass on Curr Rd, about 2pm.
"The cause is unknown and is still being investigated," Mr Cutting said.
Echuca and Echuca Village brigades also attended a fire in Simmie Rd earlier today.
"It was started by a tree contacting powerlines," Mr Cutting said.
"It wasn't a big fire and just burnt grass."
Mr Cutting reminded residents while today was not as hot as previous days, fires were still a risk.
"There is fuel in the landscape and it's still dry," he said.
"There can still be fires on days of 20C. It doesn't have to 40C. It's dry and if there's a bit of wind, a fire can take off easily.
"That's what we're preparing for over the next few days.
"We've had a fire few fires started by maintenance work to cars and caravans on the roadside, so people need to be aware of this and take care."
