Police said at 8.45 am on Madill Rd and Neale Track, Undera, a male driver reacted poorly to a situation by stopping his vehicle, climbing out holding a long-arm firearm with scope and pointing it at another vehicle.
The male driver is described as being in his late 30s or early-40s, 172 cm tall with a black beard and wearing a black cowboy hat.
His vehicle was described as a white 2013-2015 Nissan Navara with a flat-bed tray, towing a black unregistered box trailer with ramps.
Detective Senior Constable Nathan Berryman said drivers with dashcams who were in the area at that time, including on Mooroopna-Echuca Rd, might have come across the vehicle.
“I would urge anyone who was travelling on those roads, or who were in the general area at the time and saw the vehicle or may have captured it on dashcam, to come forward,” he said.
