The pair from the Waranga and Western wards respectively won their places on the council back after running unopposed for the 2020 elections.
And Ms Pentreath said she was looking forward to working alongside some new faces despite admitting before the election she was unsure if she would run again.
“It’s always exciting when new people are voted in,” she said.
“It’s an opportunity for those people to bring fresh ideas from their experiences in local communities.
“I look forward to meeting everyone at our first meeting and working together moving forward.”
Ms Pentreath said it was important that council formed a strong connection for the greater good.
“Our goal is to blend together so we can create stability for the community,” she said.
“It’s important for us to focus on each other’s strengths and weaknesses. If we can do that it means we will be able to make things work much easier.
“I’m confident we will be able to do that.”
In September, Mr Weston said he was pleased to once again represent the Waranga ward after running unopposed for the second straight election.
“We’re back to the beginning of a four-year journey again,” he said.
“There are some pretty good candidates and it should be a good term. I’m looking forward to working with the community once again.”
