Players etch names in Echuca’s history books

Following a season where Echuca dominated on the football field and netball courts, the club held its end-of-season presentations virtually last week.

Congratulations to all the winners.

Senior football:

Best and fairest: Kane Morris (78 votes).

Runner-up best and fairest: Sam Willoughby (63 votes).

Third best and fairest: Ben Reid (50 votes).

Rising star: Riley Smith.

Best team player: Mitch Wales.

Most determined: Jack McHale.

Trainer’s award: Kane Morris.

Straight to the pool room: Under-18 best and fairest winner Cooper Willoughby also claimed the Craig O’Brien award for most votes across the club, while brother Sam Willoughby took home the senior runner-up best and fairest award.

A-grade netball

Best and fairest: Angela Slattery (25 votes).
