The 12 students, joined by two accompanying adults each, plus staff, shared in a special dinner together at the Mathoura Bowling Club.
The local bowling club generously donated the meals for every Year 6 student.
The evening was successfully hosted by the school’s two 2021 school captains, Lily Guthridge and Sienna Toomey.
Each student had created a special video of reflection to share with their parents about their favourite MPS memory, their greatest achievements, where they would like to be in ten years, and what they would like to be remembered for by other students.
Photographs taken at school and collected over the past seven years were viewed, as well as videos of their recent Year 6 Wellbeing Day and the school's annual Colour Run.
A special graduation cake was cut by two students before being enjoyed for dessert.
On departure, Year 6 students were presented with a special gift box filled with many items, including a gift card to spend on items for high school, a pack of Derwent pencils, a special Pete Cromer bird mug, a school pen, and their Year 6 graduation photos.
Throughout the evening, the Year 6 Awards were presented.
