Head has struck the fastest century in day-night Tests, thrilling his  home-town crowd at Adelaide Oval on Saturday.
The South Australian cracked 10 fours and three sixes en route to reaching his eighth Test ton from just 111 deliveries.
Head broke his own record for the quickest pink-ball Test ton - his 112 ball milestone against England in January 2022 in Hobart.
And he also holds the third-quickest in day-night Tests - from 126 balls against West Indies in Adelaide in December 2022.

Head produced a trademark blitz, mixing superb timing with daring stroke play.
He smacked spinner Ravichandran Ashwin for three sixes and has now made two centuries, and an 89 and a 90, in his past six innings against India.
On scoring his ton, Head made a cradling motion with bat and arms in a nod to the birth of his second child early last month.
The fan favourite then acknowledged the wild ovation from a sell-out crowd - he has made three centuries from his past four Test knocks on his beloved Adelaide Oval.
