Thilthorpe has been cleared to play in Saturday's match after seemingly suffering a compound finger fracture in their 18-point loss to Fremantle on Friday.
His bone had pierced the skin, but the Crows confirmed on Tuesday that Thilthorpe had suffered a minor fracture and was still in the frame to play against Carlton.
"We'll look after him this week in terms of contact work, but he will be fine to play on Saturday," Crows high-performance boss Darren Burgess said.
Thilthorpe is expected to be joined by Darcy Fogarty (shoulder), while Murray will require an arthroscopy on his troublesome knee.
Murray missed three games this season after jarring his reconstructed knee at training.
He returned to the side in round six and in the defeat to Fremantle.
But the 24-year-old has continued to experience discomfort, with scans on the troublesome knee proving inconclusive.
Murray could spend four to six weeks recovering after the surgery.
Meanwhile, Fremantle could regain star ruck Luke Jackson as they aim to use their St Kilda clash as a springboard into the AFL top eight.
Dockers coach Justin Longmuir says Jackson has put himself in the frame to return from a hamstring injury after training strongly on Tuesday.
The ruckman has not played since Fremantle's round-four win over the Western Bulldogs.
"He has to get through training, but we're pretty positive about his progression and pretty positive about the work he's done," Longmuir said.
"I felt like he could have played last week. That's only my feeling, so we're hopeful."
The Dockers have moved in and out of the top eight since Jackson last played, after inconsistent results against Richmond, Melbourne and Adelaide.
He will be a welcome addition alongside fellow ruck Sean Darcy for Friday's clash at Marvel Stadium, with Fremantle (4-3) sitting ninth after their 18-point win over the Crows.Â
