The project invites residents to take part as volunteers to cover a wide variety of Echuca-Moama life on video.
Northern Access Television Association deputy chairperson and project head Michael Costello is on the lookout for volunteers with and without video production experience to participate in roles such as presenters, hosts, camera operators, segment producers, video editors, and social media assistants.
“This is my way of keeping my involvement in community television going in Echuca, as well as a chance to make some content with a new group of locals,” Mr Costello said.
Mr Costello is also asking for suggestions for topics for video coverage.
“The kind of content we can produce is almost unlimited at the moment, it will be determined by the people who get involved with RiverTV,” he said.
“I'm going to see if I can get in touch with some sporting groups to produce content for them, or even multi-cam live streams.”
The resulting videos will be posted to a YouTube channel and Facebook page, as well as on the website for the project, rivertv.net with the goal of creating television content to be shown on Channel 31 in Melbourne and the CTV+ website at ctvplus.org.au
