Nineteen employees were honoured for 10 and 15 years of service to ECA, and presented with a gift basket by chief executive John Dean.
“It's been a particularly challenging 18 months for all of us here at the lodge, leaving many families and friends unable to visit their loved ones in our care due to COVID restrictions,” Mr Dean said.
“It often fell to carers, the nurses and other staff to make up for that loss of family contact and become that crucial connection for our residents.
“We are recognising those staff members who have achieved long and outstanding service with us over the last 10 and 15 years and have reached this wonderful milestone over the last 18 months.”
Staff honoured for 15 years of service were: Sonya Barbary, Marita Olsson, Geoff Dunn, Melinda Mundie, Faye Fullard, Yvonne Wolfe and Roz Collins.
Staff honoured for 10 years of service were: Shirley Lang, Joanne Pitts, Jane Monaghan, Lyn Lister, Leanne Stewart, Angela Bacon, Jane Buchanan, Elizabeth Bulman and Lynn Munzel.
