The major projects report recently presented to council also states that 18 major projects have already been delivered in recent years.
Some of the high-profile projects due for completion in May include the Moama off leash dog park, the Moulamein Preschool Day Care facility and the Barham Community Hub.
The multipurpose pavilions in both Moama and Barham are also only a few months away.
‘‘Some positive news as we work under COVID-19 restrictions is that our projects are still making good progress with minimal impact on the delivery schedule,’’ Mayor Chris Bilkey said.
‘‘There are a couple of projects requiring community consultation on the scope of works, such as Tooleybuc Mensforth Park and Murray Downs Corridor.
‘‘However many of the funding bodies have made time extensions available if required, which is helpful as we work through these unprecedented times.
‘‘It’s exciting to see the progress that is being made and, like plenty of other residents, I can’t wait for the remaining projects to be completed and for locals to make use of the facilities.’’
Project updates and status reports are included in council meeting agendas, which can be found at www.murrayriver.nsw.gov.au.
