Students and staff have been working tirelessly to put together bands and performances to keep the crowd entertained at the Echuca Racecourse on Thursday, May 6.
“It was hard because our music department loves putting together nights like this, but we haven't been able to for a long time thanks to COVID-19,” St Joseph's music teacher Mal Dunstan said.
“And we had a group of Year 8 students who missed out last year so we were keen to get something up and running as soon as we could.
“May is a bit early compared to other years, but it's all coming together pretty well.”
From the Bee Gees to AC/DC and everything in between, bands and individual acts will perform pieces they've been working on since first term.
A staff band will also perform a few songs as well.
And if that wasn't enough to get you in the mood, there's an opportunity to pull on your flared jeans or knee-high boots and win a prize for best dressed.
You can create memories by purchasing polaroid pictures or even taking your own in front of the photo wall.
“All the money raised from pictures and food will either go back into our music program or (aid and development charity) Caritas,” student organiser Kate Thomson said.
“Our team of music students has put a lot of work in, with the help of Mr Dunstan, so we would love for everyone to come and see what we've put together.”
The event is free entry and will run from 6pm until 8.30pm.
Any inquiries can be directed to Mal Dunstan on 5482 2577.
