Both were at the forefront of Echuca and Kyabram’s mission to send their team’s into the grand final in the semi-final at Euroa at the weekend.
For the Murray Bombers it was co-coach Sam Reid again.
Thirty disposals, three goals, and 17 contested possessions formed the total of Reid’s best-on-ground performance to propel Echuca to a 16-point win and a grand final berth.
This came after a 27 disposals, two-goal showing against Seymour in week one.
Opposing Reid at Euroa was experienced Bombers spearhead Tom Holman.
Holman booted four goals in the defeat to go with his 16 disposals and 13 score involvements. This comes after three goals and 17 disposals in the elimination final against Mansfield.
Holman will be pivotal in the Bombers bid to topple Euroa in this week’s preliminary final and book a rematch with Echuca in the grand final.
Semi final
