Andrew Glare and Matt Hall from the Haeusler’s Group will demonstrate the GUSS Autonomous Sprayers, which solve the problems associated with labour required for spraying vineyards and high-density orchards.
John Davidson, from Field Master Systems, will demonstrate the latest drone spraying technology from DJI with the Agras T50, the largest in DJI’s fleet in Australia.
Further to the technology theme, Francesco Brancato from UNITEC will speak on what automation in the packing process is currently available to help save on labour costs.
For those interested in reading the ‘tea leaves’ of weather outlooks, Dale Grey from Agriculture Victoria will be presenting a session, and Stephen Tancred, a senior Queensland horticulturist, will discuss using strategic sprays to reduce wage costs.
The 2024 conference will be a one-day event at the McIntosh Centre, Shepparton Showgrounds, which will allow for an expanded trade display area inside and a large outdoor area that will cater for displays and demonstrations.
As well as keynote presentations from industry professionals, the day will include industry showcase and exhibitions, on-site machinery demonstrations, networking opportunities and an evening gala dinner at The Woolshed, Kialla.
