The last plane out of Sydney might be almost gone, but the free event will kick on with the tribute band expected to get bodies moving with loads of Jimmy Barnes-inspired fun at Moama’s Rich River Golf Club.
Guest services and marketing manager Paul Lavars said the night was always memorable.
“They’ve become a staple part of our live music scene here,” he said.
“It’s always a big atmosphere when they come, it’ll be nice to have everyone up and about dancing and doing their thing.”
Performing for more than a decade in homage to Cold Chisel, Gold Chisel captures the essence of Barnsey and the band, playing hits guaranteed to give the audience a good time.
They will play a free show on December 27 from 7pm, with the event open for those aged over 18.
The club is planning a big week of end-of-year celebrations starting with the Gold Chisel show, after 18 months of minimal live music action.
“We’ll be having a huge week of live music just about every night from the 27th with some big tribute shows in there,” Mr Lavars said.
“From here on we hope that live music, dancing, with people standing around talking and enjoying themselves is what we can keep looking forward to for the next few months ahead.”
