Vicki — whose real name is Violet — had a huge party to celebrate reaching the century milestone, complete with birthday cake and a singer providing entertainment.
Staff at Doutta Galla Harmony Village bought Vicki a new outfit for the party and organised all the celebrations for her and other residents of the aged care facility.
Loving the attention, Vicki waved to everyone as they sang Happy Birthday at her party.
Vicki was born in Yorkshire in England on September 29, 1922.
She left school at the age of nine to help out her family, and used to work in textiles as a machinist.
Vicki has three children from her first marriage, but they are estranged, while her second husband is deceased.
Before moving into Doutta Galla Harmony Village in Shepparton in 2019, Vicki lived in the independent living units there.
Her hobbies included gardening, knitting, shopping and craft.
She also used to own a fox terrier and loves animals.
These days Vicki enjoys hand massages, having her nails done, attending concerts, arm chair travel and singalongs.
Sometimes she does some cooking, as well as colouring and painting.
She also loves to be around people and chat to the other residents and staff, whom she thinks of as part of her family.
Vicki was pleased with her birthday celebrations and being the centre of attention.
