UPDATE (9.45AM): A 63-YEAR-OLD man suffered upper body injuries in the crash and was flown to The Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.
Many customers are still without power.
EARLIER: A CAR driven by a 63-year-old Echuca man has rolled and hit a power pole on Goulburn Rd at 11.34pm yesterday and brought down the power lines.
Police still have the road blocked as emergency services try to clear the scene and restore power.
The CFA is also on the scene and inspecting damage to make sure there is no fire risk.
An air ambulance arrived around 12.30am but two local ambulances have just left the scene and it is not yet known if the driver will be flown to Melbourne.
Powercor crews are also on the scene but power may not be restored to large parts of town until approximately 6.30am.
Police are urging drivers to avoid the area.
