Cliff Downey was named the recipient of the $5000 cash prize of the club’s golf ball drop.
Meanwhile, Rotary Club president-elect Teresa Carlson took home second prize with Heather Fleeth finishing third.
Teresa said she was pleased to see the day run so smoothly.
“It was a spectacular day to be involved in,” she said.
“We sold 880 tickets for the day and it was great to see so much excitement around the event. There was only a few centimetres between second and third place.
“It was actually quite amazing how evenly the balls dispersed once they were dropped from the helicopter.
“The event was actually the first time members of the club were able to come together face-to-face for a few months, so it was very exciting.”
Once the prizemoney was divided it left $10,000 to be distributed across the three beneficiaries - Echuca Specialist School, Moama Public School and Rochester and Elmore District Health Service.
“We love being able to support the local community,” Teresa said.
“The organising committee had a little debrief on Sunday and we were very happy with how everything ran.
“We’re already looking forward to next year and hopefully we can do it bigger and better.”
The Rotary Club would like to thank Rich River Golf Club for their support of the event and Kennaughs Garden Centre for supplying the helicopter.
