Boundary Rd Moama access to close permanently

ACCESS to Boundary Rd, Moama from Meninya St will no longer be available to motorists as a result of work on the new Echuca-Moama bridge project.

From 11am on Tuesday, January 12, motorists will only be able to access Boundary Rd via Cemetery Rd.

Access to Boundary Road at the Meninya Street (Cobb Highway) intersection will be permanently closed to all traffic, including Boundary Road residents.

According to Transport NSW, the closure is necessary to prepare for the construction of a road link with the new Echuca-Moama Bridge which is currently being built.

Pedestrians and cyclists will still be able to access the shared path between Meninya St and Boundary Rd, while taking caution through the busy work area.

Heavy vehicles will continue to access the shopping centre loading dock from the western end of Boundary Rd.
