Cameron Laird of Byfords, Matt Tyler of Ace Radio and Cath Lees of Echuca Regional Health were all elected on Wednesday, February 17.
Community members Greg Murdoch, Oliver Boyd, Bob Smith and Geoff Kelly were all re-elected to the board, along with John Mawson of Mawson's and Dean Oberin of the American Hotel.
Damian Morgan-Bulled retired from his position.
A minute's silence was also held for long-time committee member Peter Marks.
“Peter was supportive of C4EM from the get go,” new chair Dean Oberin said.
“He saw C4EM as an opportunity to fill the gap between the government and what was happening in the community and enterprise.
“He was a great strategic thinker, very generous and supportive of a good idea, and was always prepared to be counted for what he thought was and wasn't the right way to do things.”
C4EM chief executive Deanne Armstrong added that Mr Marks had been an incredible supporter of community initiatives.
In her report, Ms Armstrong said the community was responding to challenges put forward by COVID-19.
“We haven't received any financial support from government in either NSW or Victoria,” she said.
“So we have to keep moving. We have a very proactive community group coming together and looking at opportunities.
“We have had a couple of marketing campaigns, promoting travel within the border bubble, and we also worked on a campaign to ‘Turn the Bubble Green'.
“These were all community funded, which is a really good indicator that a collaborative approach with community when we are down can really make a change for our community.”
Ms Armstrong said the group was continuing to campaign for financial and mental health support, as well as for a clearer approach to the response to future COVID cases, so as to impact communities as minimally as possible.
