With many in the community getting behind the new initiative by purchasing tickets, the latest monthly winners have continued that trend by paying their first place prize forward.
Living out of town, but with a history of supporting the organisation, the winner Nicole Virago has donated her $500 voucher for Coolabah Turf to a family member who lives locally.
Also winning big on the day was Scott Webb, who was the lucky recipient of the second prize: a $250 voucher at Echuca Moama Physiotherapy.
Rounding out the winners on the day was Echuca Workers, which took home third prize of a $150 voucher at Echuca Moama Stand Up Paddle.
“Echuca Workers are a fantastic corporate supporter of ours,” CLRS practice and strategy manager Lauren Davy said.
“And I think they might be using it for a bit of a team-building activity, so that will be a lot of fun.”
Ms Davy said the support from the community had again been fantastic in the month of March.
“We had really good support from the local community and some new corporate sponsors come on board this month,” Ms Davy said.
“We had the lovely Dr Claire Goodman, our vice president of the board, come and officiate the draw, along with a representative from the Moama Bowling Club and Riverine Herald.”
“And we’ve had quite a few people who have committed to purchasing tickets each month, which is fantastic to see.”
The CLRS Mega Draw runs for 10 months from February to November. With the Mega Draw prize of a $10,000 home improvement package being drawn in November.
And as a bonus, ticket holders have the chance to win one of three great prizes for the month their ticket was purchased.
April tickets are now on sale, with limited tickets available each month.
This month’s bonus prizes include:
First prize: A firepit or steel artwork from Echuca Engineering to the value of $500.
Second prize: $250 voucher for Moama RSL or the MV Mary Ann.
