The now iconic blue beanies have returned to stores ahead of Big Freeze 9.
You can show your support by purchasing a Big Freeze 9 beanie for $25 at your local Coles supermarket.
All beanie sale proceeds go towards funding research, providing support and vital equipment to families impacted by MND (motor neurone disease).
Coles Echuca employees Rhonda Pagram and Cynthia Beer as well as store manager Ashley Hinson sported the new beanies earlier this week.
For Rhonda, the fight to find a cure for MND is a personal one.
“Kevin and I were happily married, when in April 2017 he was diagnosed with MND,” she said.

“The disease started to affect from the feet up eventually taking away his ability to speak, which frustrated Kevin.”
Kevin, who volunteered for the Echuca-Moama Search and Rescue Unit, was a well-known and respected member of the community.
He passed away in June 2019.
“He was a big guy, covered in tattoos. But had a heart of gold, a real softie,” Rhonda said as a tear rolled down her cheek.
Neale Daniher’s battle with MND was the inspiration behind the Big Freeze, which is now in its ninth year, and will take place before the King’s Birthday clash between Melbourne and Collingwood.
Daniher coached the Demons after a playing career with Essendon.
Footy stars and celebrities alike take the dip into freezing water to raise funds.
Since its inception in 2014, FightMND has raised more than $76 million into research and care initiatives for MND and doing so has become one of the world’s largest independent funders of MND research.
