The school was abuzz with excitement on Friday before the events kicked off as students and teachers prepared for the fete, with each class allocated its own stall.
The event was well attended right up until the event finished, as locals made the most of the warm weather and fun activities.
The school’s Parents and Friends committee member Chloe Henger said organisers were happy with the turnout.
“We were very pleased with the amount of people that came through the school grounds,” she said.
“We were supported heavily by other schools in the area and we had Dillmac come over from [Kyabram] so we had a lot of Dillmac families come out as well.
“It has raised some amazing dollars for the school and we’ll be able to do some really cool things next year with that.”
The stalls were set up, decorated and run by the students, with the majority of the stalls offering carnival games such as ‘pie face the teacher’, tic tac throw and a rewards spinning wheel.
Other stalls also offered food and drinks, temporary tattoos, crazy coloured hair and arts and crafts.
Children were able to enjoy camel rides, a petting zoo by Billabong Ranch, mini train rides, rock climbing, a jumping castle and show rides.
It was no surprise that the snow cones and slushies were the most popular products on the day as crowds tried to cool off.
Roma Pizza and the Port Ice Creamery were also present on the day.
Mrs Henger said that the P&F committee was satisfied with how the event turned out.
“It’s been a massive build-up for the P&F, we’ve spent the past six months planning this event and so seeing it all come together on Friday was really rewarding and satisfying,” she said.
“We’re just so pleased to have walked around and seen all the kids having such a great time and getting involved during the day.
“We’re relieved now but also really excited that it was such a success.”
The committee thanked the major sponsors who made the fete possible, including Echuca Meats, Roma Pizza, MHACS Supply Co, AV Builders, F45 Training Echuca, Across Electrical and Maintenance, Riverboats Festival, Century 21, Echuca Toyota, Cavalier Homes and Dawes and Vary.
