Captain and Margo are a bonded pair of cats at Campaspe Animal Shelter, with Captain being a curious male cat and Margo being a bit more cautious but growing in confidence with him by her side.

This week, we have a beautiful, bonded pair of cats.

Captain is a domestic short-haired male desexed cat who is just over a year old and his love, Margo, is a domestic short-haired female cat who is coming up on two.
For the two of them, it was love at first sight.
From different sides of the tracks and with completely different personalities, Captain and Margo have found love at the shelter, and yes, it was from the first purr.
Captain is quite the man about town. He is very interested in investigating new things, spending quality time smooching with his human counterparts and snuggling up with his new-found love, Margo.
Margo also enjoys snuggling with the new man in her life but is not 100 per cent sure about new things.
Her confidence grows with Captain by her side, and she will step out to investigate things with him.
Bonded pairs like Captain and Margo provide each other with companionship, entertainment and support, making them less destructive and happier overall.

According to Petstock, bonded pairs of animals do better together.
They keep each other company, help each other adjust to new environments, can be the other’s entertainment and are less anxious, therefore, less destructive.
Adopt Captain and Margo and you will be snuggling on the couch in no time with some quality smooching.
