Advice levels in place for Murray

The Murray River at Barham is currently at 5.57m and rising slowly, above the minor flood level (5.50m), and may reach around 5.70m later in the week.

The peak forecast at Barham will be provided once upstream peaks have been observed.

Downstream, Moama Beach remains closed to the public, with the area currently submerged. The beach has been closed since June 23.

While the Murray River at Echuca has swelled, readings on Wednesday showed it was sitting at a height of 91.3m, under the minor flood level of 93.5m.
