To kick off the festive season, the annual Christmas by Candlelight carols service will return on Sunday, December 8.
For those who enjoy a more traditional carols experience, the Uniting church will be the best place to be.
Uniting church member Yvonne Pearce said the carols always drew a good crowd.
“It is a very traditional carol service, including readings,” she said.
“There’s always a really good audience and it’s always well attended and appreciated.”
The event will feature classic carols sung by a combined choir including Bella A’Capella and accompanied by the Federal Band.
The carols will start at 7pm and run until 8pm at the church.
On the following weekend, the church’s annual Christmas tree display will be open from Saturday, December 14.
Guests will be able to see a mix of traditional and unique Christmas trees created and decorated by local schools and businesses.
The display will be held in the church hall and will be open daily from 10am to 2pm until Saturday, December 21.
For Christmas Eve and Christmas Day there will also be special additional services.
On Christms Eve, an intergenerational service for the whole family will be held at 7pm, while a 9am traditional service will be held on Christmas Day.
