Thanks to everyone who supported the successful Jerilderie Hospital Auxiliary raffle stall held last Friday.
Funds raised go towards the care and comfort of MPS residents and patients.
The winner of the box of fruit and veggies from IGA was Stephen Legge.
The next auxiliary meeting will be on Thursday, September 28 at 2pm, in the meeting room at the MPS.
New members would be welcomed with open arms.

Jerilderie Red Cross will be hosting an afternoon tea for newcomers to Jerilderie at 2pm on Wednesday, September 13, at the Sports Club.
Red Cross members invite you to go along and meet locals and other newcomers.

The Jerilderie Apex Club’s 51st handover dinner held recently was enjoyed by a small but enthusiastic group of present and past members.
The meal provided by Coleambally Butchers was enjoyed, while retired Apexians Michael Burke and Graham Knight regaled guests with anecdotes of past Apex achievements and events.
The executive elected at the meeting are president Arron Hall, secretary Michael Kent and treasurer Rob Arnold.

St Joseph’s students and teachers celebrated Father’s Day last week with a Father’s Day breakfast at 8am, followed by a footy match between kids and parents.
The teachers versus students challenge was in the afternoon.
Book week celebrations are from Wednesday to Friday this week, with a parade based on the theme ‘Read, Grow, Inspire’.
The Book Fair is from 8.30am to 9am.

The Jerilderie Portsea Camp Committee is seeking children interested in participating in the 2024 Portsea camp.
Children in the Murrumbidgee Council area who are aged between 8 and 12 years are eligible.
Dates will be from Monday, January 15 to Friday, January 19.
Cost has been set at $700 per child, which covers five days of fun and activities.
Accommodation, meals and transport are also included in the cost.
Total camp costs have been subsidised in the past by generous donations from local businesses and organisations.
Thirty places have been allocated to the Jerilderie group.
A deposit of $200 is required with the enrolment application, which is due by by November 3. The balance is to be paid by December 8.
