Locals have taken to social media appealing for details on any sightings of their missing cars.
Others have posted CCTV footage of people coming on to their property and inspecting their vehicles.
Community concerns about the level of crime have been ongoing since December last year, when thefts of cars and home and business break-ins were on the rise.
Reports reduced after police made arrests in relation to come of the incidents, but appear to be on the increase again.
Murray River Police District Chief Inspector Michael Fuller confirmed there had been two reported car thefts in the region in the past week, and the theft of a trailer.
Between 6pm last Thursday April 17 and 7.45am Friday April 18, a vehicle was stolen from a house in Wakool St, Wakool.
It was found abandoned about 11.50pm Friday on the Caldwell Line Rd, near Wakool Rd, at Wakool.
Between 10pm Sunday and 8am Monday, a vehicle was stolen from Hetherington St, Deniliquin. The vehicle also contained a number of tools.
A trailer was also stolen between 1pm and 6pm last Friday, at a Scout Hall in Moulamein Rd, Barham.
Chief Insp Fuller said police are also investigating the break-in of a Deniliquin business, and attempts to force open a rear gate to Hardinge St Oval.
The oval has been a target of thieves before, specifically the scrap metal pile which is recycled to raise money for the Deniliquin Rams Football & Netball Club.
Between 8pm Tuesday and 9am Wednesday, the gate to the oval on Macauley St was damaged.
“It appears a vehicle may have been used to attempt to force open the gate,” Chief Insp Fuller said.
“Police are investigating the malicious damage.”
Between 5pm last Thursday and 8am Tuesday, a Barham Rd businesses was broken into.
An amount of copper materials was stolen.
Police investigations are continuing on all incidents.
