Disco
The annual school disco is a highlight of the school’s social calendar. Last week our students returned to school for an evening of dancing and doing the limbo. Preps to grade 6 all joined in together with the staff for a great night, with a lot of fun and laughter! Events like these really build on the relationships between everyone at our school.
Community Bank
We have a new sign on our front fence celebrating the partnership we have with our local Bendigo Community Bank. We have been supported with many initiatives over the years but the standout one is the recent support for our artificial surface on the basketball/ netball court. This provides a safe, colourful and cutting edge surface that the school uses during school time and we encourage the community to use afterwards. A great example of two organisations working together to support the community.
Rock into Rochy
Our new preps for 2020 are coming in to school in small groups as part of our Rock into Rochy program. They are having a lot of fun spending time with Mr Irwin, their teacher for next year, and getting a feel for school life. We look forward to their coming here full time next year to be a part of our school family.
Family Movie Night
On Friday, November 8 we are holding our annual family movie night at the CVCC. This is open to any families in the community to spend a cheap, safe and entertaining night. This year’s movie is Wonder Park. More details can be found on our Facebook page or by contacting the school. This is one of the actions the school uses to give back to our community.
