From 7.30am to 1pm, the Rotary Club of Echuca Moama has co-ordinated an event at Hopwood Gardens.
A breakfast, flag-raising ceremony, a Welcome to Country, guest speaker, presentation of awards, formation flyover by Echuca Aero Club and live entertainment will celebrate the day.
Girgarre
Girgarre Memorial Hall is hosting a flag-raising ceremony, presentation of awards, barbecue breakfast and music from 8.30am to 10.30am.
The event is co-ordinated by the Girgarre Community Group Inc.
Gunbower
Gunbower Lions Club has co-ordinated an event at Felix L’Huillier Park in Gunbower Recreation Reserve from 7am.
This will include a community breakfast at the recreation reserve, flag-raising ceremony and guest speaker.
Koyuga
From 6pm the Koguya Hall will host a sausage sizzle and the annual yabby races, co-ordinated by the Koyuga Memorial Hall and Recreation Reserve Committee.
Kyabram
A breakfast and celebration will be held at John Pilley Reserve at Kyabram Fauna Park from 8am to 10am, co-ordinated by the Rotary Club of Kyabram.
Kyvalley
The Kyvalley Community Park will hold an event from 12.15pm to 1.15pm, co-ordinated by the Kyvalley Swimming Club Inc.
This event will include a barbecue lunch, community ceremony, guest speaker and entertainment, with the pool open to the public from noon to 3pm.
Lockington
A breakfast and flag-raising ceremony will be hosted at the Lions Park from 8am to 10am.
From 10.30am to 12.30pm, a kids’ fishing competition will be held at the Lockington Channel, with the events co-ordinated by Lockington Lions Club and the Action Club of Lockington.
Rochester
The Rochester Australia Day Committee will hold an event from 7am at the Lions Park.
Rochester Lions Club will cater a barbecue breakfast, while a flag-raising ceremony, guest speaker and presentation of awards will follow.
Rushworth
From noon, Rushworth ‘Village Green’ will hold a welcoming of new residents to Rushworth and District, presentation of awards, sausage sizzle and live entertainment.
This event is co-ordinated by the Rushworth and District Australia Day Committee.
Stanhope
At 9.30am, the Stanhope Australia Day Committee will host a flag-raising ceremony and sausage sizzle at the Stanhope Community Hall.
Toolleen
Toolleen Recreation Reserve Committee of Management is hosting a luncheon with a guest speaker at the recreation reserve from 11am.
Tongala
From 10am to 4pm a pool party with music, games and refreshments will be held at the Tongala Swimming Pool.
This event is co-ordinated by the Tongala Development Group.
Wyuna
At 6.30pm, Wyuna Memorial Hall will hold a flag-raising ceremony and community barbecue, co-ordinated by Wyuna Community Memorial Hall Inc.
