Mayor Rob Amos said the awards were a chance for residents to recognise and celebrate the contributions and outstanding service of individuals within their communities.
“We have many unsung heroes that go about their day, selflessly improving the lives of others by volunteering in sport, youth or seniors programs, the arts, disability and community services to name a few,” Cr Amos said.
“It’s a great chance for the community to shine a spotlight on the fantastic efforts of these exceptional individuals.”
Nominees must live within Campaspe Shire and can be entered into one of three categories: Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, and Community Group of the Year.
