Grady Trevena, and Brodi Maple, both aged 15, will be attending the prestigious ballet conservatoire full-time from January in the professional coaching program.
This conservatoire, established in 1991 by Christine Walsh, former principal artist from the Australian Ballet, and Ricardo Ella, boasts that it prepares dancers to perform in companies across the world.
Maia Allan (15), Daisy Griffiths (11), Chelsea Berryman (12), Lillian Williams (11) and Tom Kilborn (10) have also been offered a place in the conservatoire’s specialised part-time coaching program, taking place over a number of weeks across the year.
iDance owner and principal Jaqui Kornmann has said she’s extremely happy with the results from her students, and credits their commitment to their dance practice.
iDance students will also be performing their annual show again at the Echuca Paramount Theatre on December 11 and 12.
They will be performing excerpts from The Sleeping Beauty ballet Anchors Away and dances inspired by Moulin Rouge, as well as other solo and duo performances.
