The weather is looking to be a perfect Cup Day.
After the races The Royal, Federal and Community Club are the places to be to continue on the day.

On Melbourne Cup Day, the United Hospital Berrigan invites the community to a luncheon from 12pm.
Enjoy a lovely two course meal, complimentary bubbles on arrival, and try your luck in the lucky door prize.
There will also be prizes for Lady of the Day and Hat of the Day, and there will be race sweeps throughout the afternoon.
All this is for $40 per person.
Come along and bring your friends, and help raise important funds to support our local health service.

The Berrigan Community Club will be hosting Oaks Day on Thursday, November 7 from 11.30am.
There will be fashions on course, raffles and sweeps, and live music from 1pm.
A Chinese smorgasbord lunch will be served.
Cost is $35 and bookings can be made at the Community Club on 5885 2229.

The Berrigan Library is getting creative and invites the community to join in on Thursdays.
You can enjoy sour dough demonstrations, Japanese embroidery, polymer clay jewellery making, watercolour painting, card making, crochet and knitting days - something for everyone.
The creative days will be held on Thursdays from 10am to noon.

Preparation is underway for the Red Cross Fashion Extravaganza, which will be held once again on market night, December 6, and Saturday morning December 7.

The branch Christmas lunch will be held before the November 20 meeting.

All members were saddened at the passing of Red Cross shop volunteer Paula Forde.
Along with Mick, she had worked in the shop for more than seven years.
