On Saturday, August 31 Bullanginya Dreaming, in partnership with ACHE, is offering exclusive access to a unique and traditional experience.
The cultural, immersive experience incorporates a traditional Smoking Ceremony led by Bangerang Elders, a personalised guided tour of Bullanginya Dreaming by Traditional Owners, and music and dance performances by the Bangerang people.
Limited tickets are available for this event.
Sporties Barooga CEO Bobby Brooks said the organisation had a strong partnership with ACHE.
“The Bangerang community and ACHE have been with us every step of the way when creating Bullanginya Dreaming,” Mr Brooks said.
“It’s great to offer an authentic experience to visitors of Bullanginya Dreaming, thanks to our partnership with ACHE.
“Bullanginya Dreaming is a world-class luna light journey, and we are excited for people from near and far to come and experience Bullanginya Dreaming — now with a traditional cultural immersive experience.”
Visitors to Bullanginya Dreaming will traverse the 1.8km immersive night-time walking track, encountering 12 unique activations that describe the distinct stories of local Indigenous culture and identity, as described and told by the Bangerang people.
Proud Bangerang Elder Uncle Darren (Dozer) Atkinson said Bullanginya Dreaming had created an awareness that previously didn’t exist in the community.
“Bullanginya Dreaming is an experience to educate the community about our culture,” he said.
“Our mission is to encourage everyone to reconnect to culture, Country, and to community.
“We want to walk side by side, to share our culture, and support reconciliation across our Country, and Bullanginya Dreaming allows us to do this.”
Tickets for the ACHE experience are $65 per person. Booking fees and charges may apply.
