Echuca police reported one burglary at a residential address in Francis St that they believe occurred around February 29. They said a large amount of sentimental items were stolen.
There was also a burglary overnight at a property along Mundarra Rd, Echuca, on March 5, where many power tools were stolen.
A third burglary occurred at Forever Fresh overnight on March 6, where a small amount of property was stolen.
NSW Police Chief Inspector Paul Huggett has reiterated his call for people to take more precautions after they had at least three reported burglaries in the past week.
“We are asking people not to leave valuables in the car, not to leave their front keys by the door. These are not criminal masterminds. These are just people who have found an opportunity," he said.
