If you’ve ever dreamed of taking a chance on the stage, mark your calendars for Monday, December 16, at 7.30pm at the EMTC shed, Simmie St, Echuca.
The night will be jam-packed with everything you need to know about the show, auditions, and rehearsals.
Set on a sun-kissed Greek island, Mamma Mia! follows Sophie, a bride-to-be with a dream: to have her father walk her down the aisle. There’s just one problem — she doesn’t know who he is.
Cue a hilarious and heartwarming journey as Sophie invites three men from her mother Donna’s past to her wedding, creating a whirlwind of love, laughter, and ABBA-fuelled chaos.
Co-directors Lesley Robins and Mark Thomson are excited about bringing the feel-good musical to life, with the support of Dillmac Entertainment’s Chris McDonald as musical director and Lisa Styles from Suzanne’s School of Dance as choreographer.
“Mamma Mia! is a celebration of family, friendship, and the music of ABBA and who doesn’t love ABBA? This is going to be a hit with both cast members and audiences alike,” Lesley said.
“We hope to see some new old and faces at our information night, particularly people aged 18-28 who are needed for key male-presenting roles.”
Open to performers aged 14 and up, the production will take to the stage at the Paramount in May 2025.
