Held on the newly extended Malibu Deck, hundreds of parents and children turned out to participate, watch and enjoy.
The stars of the night included the students and teachers from Yarrawonga College P-12, Sacred Heart Primary, Mulwala Public School and of course, Santa.
Talented dancers from Sun Country Dance Studio performed several fantastic festive dances while MC Paul Vitullo and Linda Moreland from Me and The Girl entertained the crowd.
Entertainers Lachlan McIntyre and Steve Bell also performed several traditional Christmas songs, bringing the local community together in song.
Mulwala Water Ski Club CEO Peter Duncan welcomed the huge crowd to ‘Carols by the Lake’, expressing the importance of the event in bringing the community together.
Club President Matt Holgate welcomed Friends in Common volunteers to the stage to accept a donation of $1000 for Friends In Common.
“It was a wonderful festive night on the Malibu Deck,” Mulwala Water Ski Club Marketing Manager Cathy Randell said.
“Despite a shower at around four pm, it turned out to be a very nice evening.
“Carols by the Lake is a celebration of all the wonderful things that make up the festive season and is a great way for our local community to come together.
“We would like to thank everyone who was involved in the event and those who came along to enjoy this wonderful night.”
